US route 6? oh i really couldn't wait!

well yesterday i went on a road trip with eric. i did indeed! it was exciting and i have pictures to prove it!

he picked me up in bloomsburg and up up up above scranton we went. he knew where he was going so i was just enjoying the ride/view/company, and then we found ourselves on route 6. we went through towns like troy and towanda and those northern town. good memory sarah. but one exciting thing we passed, but didn’t realize it until it was too late, was the area where steven foster lived for a bit. who is that you ask? oh he wrote the song “camptown races!” doo dah doo dah.

we saw a bunch of fun things, all of which i will show you at the end of this post. eric is always able to show me offbeat things and things no one really knows about, or cares to know about. goodjoberic! i was kind of out of it and spacey on the way home because i was getting sick. that’s never fun, but i enjoyed my tour of part of PA US route 6!

here’s an overlook at a rest stop.

pointy building at rest area.

another pointy building. and eric’s yaris.

a covered bridge! oh i couldn’t wait!

the town of troy was full on fun signs.

and finally we went through forksville to go back to bloomsburg. this sign was at their general store. maybe someone needs to tell them their sign needs a fixin’?

there he is!
