Eric’s parents visit- Day Two of the Peninsula/Oregon trip.

This was in Forks, WA.

This is the world's largest western red cedar tree!

She's a big one!

Ruby Beach, Washington.

It's a Smartz!

I saw this little guy hopping around on the rocks. I'm not quite sure what kind of bird he was though.

Green Sea Anemones.

Barnacles.

These are possibly some sort of anemone.

Green Sea Anemones. You are kind of gross.

Birds!

Barnacles.

The Destruction Island lighthouse is in the background.

Fun rock formation at Ruby Island.

We're in front of another giant cedar tree!

Who is that in the water?

Oh hi little otter!

Here we are driving on the beach in Ocean City, WA.

And here we are NOT driving on the beach in Ocean City, WA.

Eric was super thrilled about this!

This fellow decided to help pull the car out of the loose sand we found ourselves in.

That only made things worse.

But he tried again. This time with success!

Eric and I played on our favorite playground in Raymond, WA.

We found these guys while getting a new rental car at the Astoria airport in Astoria, OR.

US Coastguard!

This plane was huge! It's amazing that it can fly!

Here are the remains of a shipwreck at Fort Stevens in Oregon. The ship, the Peter Iredale ran ashore on October 25, 1906.

We've been here before but not when the tide was this low.

Jellyfish.

Herc sails!

We stayed in Seaside, Oregon for the night. We also had some pretty tasty spicy tofu and vegetables!

Eric and I went down to something that resembles a boardwalk in Seaside. I wanted to visit the carousel...and there were pressed penny machines near the carousel. I love carousels! I guess that's because I used to be a crazy horse girl. This was a fun carousel but my favorite on is at Knoebel's Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania!!
